Kathryn Rabak's Verbal Commitment
Congratulations are in order for Kat Rabak, who has made a verbal commitment to Pomona - Pitzer College.

Kat and her parents Frank and Karen first visited the school in October while on break. "I loved the school the first time that I saw it," said Kat. "It will be quite a change geographically for me. Southern California definitely is not like northern California and I'm going to embrace that socal lifestyle. Academically the school is top notch, with a small student body which lends to a very home-like feel. I spoke with coach Ferguson the other day to tell her of my decision and she was very excited. She said that she was jumping around. I'm excited as well and I know that my parents are happy that I won't be quite so far from home. It took a long time to come to this decision but I'm very proud and happy to be attending Pomona-Pitzer."

Pomona-Pitzer is coached by JoAnne Ferguson and plays in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC).

Congratulations to the newest Pomona-Pitzer " SAGEHEN ", Kat Rabak, from your All American family.

Stesha Brazil's Verbal Commitment
Congratulations are in order for Stesha Brazil, who has made a verbal commitment to the University of Houston.

Stesha and her parents, Stephanie and Steve, visited the lone star state while the Cougars were at home last weekend entertaining conference foes the Knights of Central Florida in a conference series.

"It was an exciting, interesting and fun trip, said Stesha. I was so excited to take the trip. I knew what the outcome would be before I left home but I thought it was important to speak speak face to face with Coach Holas, rather than making a phone call. I also experienced some very interesting weather. I've never seen so much rain in such a short period of time. There was flash flooding that went on in the area. I saw a Houston Astros game, visited the beach and of course went to the mall. I have loved Texas since I was little girl and now I"ll be there for four years. The team and coaches remind me of my own team. Coach Holas and her staff are great and the facilities are second to none. I look forward to my first day in uniform."

The Universaity of Houston is coached by Kyla Holas and plays in Conference USA with East Carolina, UAB, Central Florida, Marshall, Memphis, Southern Mississippi, Tulsa and UTEP.

" It was great to watch them play so close to home, where I could have my entire family there with me. I made a sign and flashed it from the stands that said I wanted to be a Ram. The coaches smiled and waved back at me. On Monday I called and made things official. I'm so excited to have this opportunity ahead of me, in a part of the country that my family and I are so familiar with. I've heard other players say that it felt like home after they vistited the school that they verbaled at and now I know what they mean. The feeling that I had around the players and coaches was great. The school has a great agricultural department, that willl be my basic field of study". said Kendal

Former All American Catcher and current Sacramento State Star Selected in the National Pro Fastpitch Draft
Jamie Schloredt was selected in the 3nd round by the Chicago Bandits of the National Pro Fastpitch League on Tuesday, Feb 17th.

Jaime is currently a senior with Sacramento State and holds a number of all time records with the team.  In 2008, Jaime hit .408 with an OB% of .513 and a slugging % of .737.  She also launched 13 home runs.  Jaime was also selected by ASA as one of the top 50 Collegiate Players to watch this year.

Jaime who played the majority of her youth career with Coach Bryan Merrida and Nor Cal Lite, AASA had the pleasure of having Jaime join our Gold team after her freshman year in 2006.

Also selected in the draft were former players Jenae Leles (Rockford Thunder) a senior at U of Arizona and Izmena Cabrera (Chicago Bandits) of Sac State.  Both players were recruited while playing for Coach Bryan.

The league is made up of the Bandits, Akron Racers, Rockford Thunder, Washington Glory and the Philadelphia Force. The Bandits are the defending champions of both the NPF regular season, and Championship Series. The National Pro Fastpitch League is entering its 15th year of existence, beginning in 1995 as the Women’s Pro Fastpitch League.

Jaime will catch a star-studded Bandit pitching staff that includes former collegiate All-Americans Jennie Finch (Arizona), Kristina Thorson (Cal) and Amanda Freed (UCLA). Cabrera joins an outfield that includes former All-American Caitlin Lever (Georgia Tech), as well as Nicole Trimboli (Nebraska) and Ashley Carlson (Radford).

In the fall of 2005 the Nor Cal Lite team and coaching staff join All American and we are proud to still have the entire staff with our Gold team.

We know that Mom, (Vicki), Dad (Donald) and “Gramma” (Barbara) will be racking up the frequent flyer miles to follow Jaime as they could be seen at nearly every one of Jaime’s games over the years.

Best of luck to all and congrats…

Devon, along with her parents Dave and Kim and little sister, Julianna, made the trip north where Devon attended the Oregon Holiday Camp, hosted by head coach Kathy Arendsen and her staff.

"I was excited but yet a little bit nervous about the camp knowing that I was very interested in attending Oregon. The camp was great although we were forced indoors because of the weather. I think that I shocked coach Arendsen when I told her that Oregon was my choice. We asked so many questions, that I think she thought I was unsure. Coach Arendsen has so much passion for what she does and I love that. I look forward to all that Oregon has to offer as well as the Pac 10. I'm also excited about the opportunity to continue to play softball with Courtney at the next level. " said Devon.

When I told her that Charleston was my choice she got really excited. I've found the college that has every aspect of what I was looking for.
